Education: Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics and Transportation, International Business, or a related field. Experience: 1+ year of experience in domestic transportation or logistics. Experience coordinating transportation services and managing transportation providers. Experience in customer service and direct client interaction. Experience coordinating shipments with freight carriers and parcel service providers such as FedEx and UPS . Experience working with suppliers, carriers, customers, and internal teams. Knowledge: Knowledge of domestic transportation operations within the U.S. Knowledge of transportation services, freight, and parcel shipping. Basic understanding of shipment weight, dimensions, volume, and equipment requirements . Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Familiarity with transportation, shipping, and tracking systems. Understanding of U.S. geography, routes, and transportation logistics. Skills: Strong communication and customer service skills. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to coordinate multiple shipments and priorities simultaneously. Ability to obtain and coordinate material pickups from customer sites or warehouses Ability to request and compare transportation quotes. Problem-solving and decision-making skills. Ability to work effectively with customers, carriers, suppliers, and internal teams. Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills. Responsibilities Coordinate domestic transportation operations across the U.S based on shipment requirements. Receive and manage customer requests for material movements Coordinate shipments with FedEx, UPS, freight carriers, and other transportation providers. Select the appropriate transportation service based on weight, dimensions, volume, and type of material. Coordinate material pickups, deliveries, and arrival schedules at different destinations. Monitor shipments and ensure on-time pickup and delivery. Assign and verify secure routes according to customer requirements. Track and resolve transportation issues, delays, and delivery exceptions. Analyze transportation costs, expenses, and accessorial charges. Review and compare carrier quotes to identify cost-effective transportation options. Maintain accurate shipment and transportation records. Communicate and coordinate with customers, carriers, suppliers, and internal teams. Prepare and submit required reports and documentation. Ensure all administrative procedures and supporting documentation are completed as required, including commercial invoices, BOL/POD creation and verification, and other shipment documentation.
