Transportation CNA

The Transportation CNA is responsible for the following:

• Ensure residents are ready for scheduled appointments outside of the facility.
• Assist residents to the loading area and assist with loading residents/patients in the transport vehicle.
• Notify appropriate staff of resident/patient complaints/requests.
• Communicate with residents/patients, family, visitors and staff.
• Manage and operate equipment safely and correctly. This includes the wheelchair lift and seatbelts for wheelchairs.
• Observe/report any change in resident/patient condition or immediate environment to the Nurse.
• Obtain heights, weights and vitals signs.
• Direct and assist residents/patients in transfers and range of motion activities.

Requirements:

• Must have current CNA certification
