Convenient Manhattan Location: Located in the heart of Manhattan Benefits: Health, dental, and vision insurance plus generous PTO Requirements for Transportation Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA): Active New York Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certificate Valid New York Driver’s License At least 3 months of CNA experience in subacute care or a nursing home (clinical experience while going through a CNA program doesn’t count) Must be willing to work on the CNA floor when needed Responsibilities of Transportation Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA): Accompany residents to medical appointments outside the facility Safely assist residents with transfers, including wheelchair and stretcher transfers Work on the CNA floor when needed Serve as a liaison between residents and the facility by providing and obtaining information as needed Ensure appropriate communication and follow-up after resident appointments Hand-carry required documents, including medical records and forms, as well as specimens Complete additional duties as assigned by the Appointment Coordinator and/or Director of Nursing About Us Northern Manhattan Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is a diverse and dynamic 320-bed long-term care facility committed to service excellence and outstanding resident and patient outcomes.
