By joining the District 3 Equipment Section as a Transportation CDL and Equipment District Trainer in Warren County, you’ll have the opportunity to oversee, conduct, and coordinate all equipment related training programs within the district including Entry-Level Driver Training for Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and develop and conduct a training program for complex highway construction and maintenance equipment. Summary Of Responsibilities Supervise Know safety requirements for climbing Check climbing gear Train employees in safe working conditions Complete and interpret National Bridge Inspection Standards (NBIS) standards and inspections Ideal Candidate Will Have Experience In Training or public speaking Use of highway construction and maintenance equipment Developing training aids or lesson plans Technical understanding of equipment operation Equipment safety Benefits And Perks Comprehensive health with optional dental and vision insurance. EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: Must have eight years of construction or highway maintenance experience. Substitute EDUCATION for EXPERIENCE: College or technical training in construction management, construction technology, heavy equipment operation or a related field will substitute for the experience on a year-for-year basis. Substitute EXPERIENCE for EDUCATION: NONE SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS (AGE, LICENSURE, REGULATION, ETC.): Must be 18 years of age.
