Job Overview Epic Personnel Partners is hiring a Logistics Coordinator / Dispatcher in Ruther Glen, VA! Pay: $17 Shift: 3rd Job Type: Full-Time Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Logistics Coordinator to support transportation and shipment operations in a fast-paced distribution environment. This position is responsible for coordinating shipments, communicating with drivers and carriers, tracking deliveries, updating records, and ensuring freight moves efficiently from origin to destination. This role is ideal for candidates with experience in customer service, dispatching, logistics, transportation, administrative support, call centers, shipping and receiving, or warehouse operations. Responsibilities: Coordinate and monitor daily shipments and transportation schedules Communicate with drivers, carriers, and internal teams regarding shipment status Track freight movement and provide timely updates Process shipping documentation and maintain accurate records Enter and update information in transportation management systems Assist with resolving delivery delays and transportation issues Provide professional customer service and support Maintain compliance with company transportation procedures Qualifications: Previous experience in dispatching, logistics, transportation, customer service, administrative support, or related fields preferred Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Experience with transportation or warehouse operations is a plus, but not required Benefits: Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Paid Time Off Location: Ruther Glen, VA Epic Personnel Partners is an equal opportunity employer committed to creating an inclusive workplace for all employees.
