Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Transport Truck Driver to join our logistics team. Responsibilities Safely operate commercial trucks to transport freight over long or short distances, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and other critical systems Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo Maintain accurate documentation of deliveries, pickups, and vehicle logs in compliance with company policies and legal requirements Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues promptly Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to ensure vehicle safety and operational readiness Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts for loading/unloading freight when required Qualifications Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record Experience operating heavy trucks and commercial vehicles in various conditions Proficiency in forklift operation for loading and unloading freight Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety protocols Ability to perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting on trucks and related equipment Strong communication skills and attention to detail for accurate record keeping Physical ability to lift heavy objects, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks as needed Join us in delivering excellence on the road!
