Transport Refrigeration (ThermoKing) / Trailer Technician

Interstate Nationalease is looking for an experienced technician to diagnose, maintain, and repair transport refrigeration units and refrigerated trailers. Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair ThermoKing refrigeration units, including diesel engines, electrical systems, and refrigeration components. Perform preventive maintenance and inspections on refrigeration units and trailers. Troubleshoot temperature control issues, fault codes, wiring, and electrical problems. Perform trailer repairs, including brakes, lighting, doors, floors, and other components as needed. Use diagnostic tools, service manuals, and technical resources to identify and complete repairs. Identify potential warranty repairs and notify the Service Manager before proceeding. Perform authorized warranty repairs according to manufacturer's procedures. Document diagnostic findings, repairs, parts used, and labor time to support repair orders and warranty claims. Communicate repair status, additional findings, and parts needs to the Service Manager. Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow company safety procedures. Qualifications: Experience diagnosing and repairing ThermoKing or other transport refrigeration units. Experience with trailer maintenance and repairs. Ability to read wiring diagrams and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems. Ability to use diagnostic equipment and work independently. Valid driver’s license and dependable attendance. Experience performing and documenting ThermoKing warranty repairs is preferred. Refrigerant handling certification, as applicable, is preferred.
