Transload Manager - 3PL

Now Hiring: Transload Manager Industry: Third-Party Logistics (3PL) / Warehousing & Transportation Position Type: Full-Time About the Role Crossfire Logistics Inc. Is seeking an experienced, hands-on Transload Manager to join our busy, fast-paced 3PL operation. The ideal candidate has a strong background in warehousing, logistics, freight handling, and transloading operations, along with proven leadership skills and the ability to manage daily warehouse activities efficiently and safely. This individual will oversee transloading operations, coordinate inbound and outbound freight, supervise warehouse personnel, and ensure freight is handled accurately, safely, and on schedule. The successful candidate must be comfortable operating forklifts and working directly alongside the warehouse team when needed. Key Responsibilities ●Oversee daily transloading operations, including the loading and unloading of trucks, containers, trailers, and other freight equipment. ●Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to ensure efficient freight movement and on-time completion. ●Supervise, train, and support warehouse and transload personnel. ●Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment as needed. ●Ensure proper freight handling, staging, storage, and shipment accuracy. ●Maintain a safe, organized, and productive warehouse and yard environment. ●Monitor inventory, shipment documentation, and freight discrepancies. ●Communicate with drivers, dispatchers, customers, and internal operations teams. ●Identify opportunities to improve productivity, workflow, and operational efficiency. ●Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and equipment operating standards. ●Help manage labor, equipment utilization, and daily workload priorities. Qualifications ●Previous experience in warehousing, logistics, transportation, or transloading operations required. ●Strong forklift operating skills and the ability to safely maneuver and handle freight in a busy warehouse environment. ●Prior experience leading or supervising warehouse employees preferred. ●Knowledge of loading and unloading procedures, freight handling, and warehouse safety practices. ●Ability to read and understand shipping documents, bills of lading, and related paperwork. ●Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. ●Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities. ●Dependable, self-motivated, and willing to take a hands-on approach to daily operations. ●Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including lifting and moving freight as needed.
