Transit Dispatcher ( Biliingual English/Spanish)

Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and bilingual (English/Spanish) Dispatcher to join our transportation and logistics team. In this vital role, you will coordinate vehicle dispatching, manage freight movements, and ensure smooth communication between drivers, clients, and internal departments. Duties: Run the radio and the vehicle tracking (AVL) system. Monitor on-time performance. Reroute drivers around road closures and incidents. Assign extraboard drivers when a run is open. Take complaints and log incidents. Notify the City as required. Required: 3+ years of transit fixed-route fleet dispatching. The RFP sets this minimum. Strong communication with drivers, supervisors and management. Computer skills. Computer skills. Strongly preferred: Bilingual English/Spanish. The City strongly recommends it, and our proposal commits to a bilingual dispatcher on duty during all service hours. A CDL is a plus.
