STL Truck and TrailerJob description: We are seeking an experienced Trailer Mechanic for a busy repair shop Essential Functions of Job: Troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing all types of trailers including, End Dumps, Walking Floors, Belly Dumps, Refuse trailers etc. Repair, recondition and maintain equipment. Possess an appropriate tool set for position. Maintain company equipment. Experience in Electrical and Hydraulics preferred. Trailer air brake systems. Welding/Fabrication skills. Perform preventative maintenance and DOT inspections. Test repaired equipment for proper performance to ensure work meets fleet and customer specifications and expectations.
