Trailer Technician
Lancaster EMSJob Summary As a Shower Trailer Technician, you will be responsible for the provision of safe operations and transportation of a 26ft trailer and towing vehicle. The trailer is a specially equipped vehicle with 2 shower stalls and a clinical exam room. The Technician will be primarily responsible for the deployment of the shower trailer, including set-up, sanitation, transport, tear down, and troubleshooting of the trailer, tow vehicle, and equipment. Duties Ensure the safe storage and readiness of the towing vehicle and shower trailer Conduct pre-use and post-use safety checks of all program equipment Deploy the shower trailer for scheduled events, including: connecting/disconnecting the trailer to the tow vehicle; safely stabilizing the trailer; filling water storage tank; hooking up water supply line; using and filling propane tanks; operating gas-powered electrical generator; operating water heater and shower head timer; and winterizing the trailer under specific weather conditions Responsible for sanitizing shower stations, sinks, floors, and other touch surfaces Maintain cleanliness of the trailer and tow vehicle Experience/Credentials High school diploma/GED PA driver's license Experience pulling two-axle trailers (minimum of 3 years preferred) Those with interest should apply through our website, at: www.lemsa.com/careers.php Pay: $21.25 - $23.50 per hour Expected hours: 16.0 per week Benefits: Employee assistance program Professional development assistance Work Location: In person
