Trailer Technician I / II / III (El Paso, TX) TFA Logistics is hiring Trailer Technicians at our El Paso terminal to maintain our dry van, reefer, and flatbed trailers. We hire and pay across three tiers (I, II, III) based on your experience — apply regardless of experience level and we'll place you at the right tier. No prior experience required for Tier I — on-the-job training provided. What You'll Do Perform scheduled trailer PM services and DOT annual inspections Repair brakes, suspension, lights, doors, and structural components Diagnose reefer unit issues or coordinate outside reefer service Troubleshoot reefer, electrical, and ABS/brake systems using diagnostic tools Communicate repair status and parts needs to the Lead Technician/Supervisor Follow lockout/tagout, fall protection, and PPE protocols Experience & Qualifications by Tier Tier I: Entry level, no experience required; performs routine PM and basic repairs under supervision Tier II: 1+ years trailer maintenance experience; independently completes PM/DOT inspections and repairs brakes, suspension, and structural issues Tier III: 4+ years experience; handles complex structural/electrical/reefer diagnostics independently; holds DOT annual inspection sign-off authority Preferred: Basic electrical and air brake system knowledge (all tiers); DOT inspection certification (Tier III) Apply today to join a team that keeps freight moving safely across the region.
