Trailer Repair Mechanic

Bob Sumerel Tire Company in Lima, OH is seeking an experienced MOBILE TRAILER TECHNICIAN to join our growing team. Employees can make up to an additional $12,000 a year in incentive pay! Duties will include: Preventative maintenance and repair all systems on semi-trailers Brake work including replacement of brake shoes, drums, hubs, seals, bearings, etc. Repair electrical and lighting systems Replacement of chassis components such as springs, spring hangers, equalizers, complete slider assemblies, axles, and sub frames Landing gear and 5th wheel plate inspection and repair Repair or replace flooring, rub rails, doors and door trim Repair roofs, panels, nose panels, lower and upper rails Requirements: 1 - 2 years of experience in trailer repair Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record (required) Ability to lift up to 60 pounds Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Attention to detail and highly organized Company Perks Competitive Pay Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance 401K Paid Vacation Short- and Long-Term Disability Job Type: Full-time Starting pay $25.00 per hour Performance based monthly bonus opportunity Work schedule Monday-Friday 7:30am-4pm Job Type: Full-time Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Paid time off People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Experience: trailer repair: 2 years (Preferred) Work Location: In person
