Trailer Mechanic

Davidson Trucking Inc. is seeking a dependable and experienced Trailer Mechanic for a full-time position. We are looking for someone with strong mechanical skills who takes pride in their work and can perform maintenance and repairs on semi-trailers to keep our equipment safe and road-ready. Responsibilities Perform general semi-trailer maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance. Diagnose and repair brake systems, air systems, electrical and lighting issues, suspension components, tires, and other trailer-related problems. Replace trailer doors and repair trailer roofs. Perform DOT inspections and address identified maintenance issues. Troubleshoot mechanical problems and complete repairs in a timely manner. Maneuver a yard truck and pull 53-foot trailers in and out of the shop. Maintain a clean and safe work area. Be willing to work weekends. Qualifications Previous trailer mechanic experience preferred. Strong mechanical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of semi-trailer systems and repairs. Dependable, hardworking, and safety-minded. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to safely maneuver a yard truck and move 53-foot trailers.
