Trailer Mechanic
Greg Kelley FarmsJob Description: Mechanic must be able to complete the following: Perform scheduled & non-scheduled repairs on van/flatbed semi-trailers Structural Repairs on trailers DOT inspections on semi-trailers by DOT standards Basic repairs on exterior & interior of trailers Trailer Door Repair/Replace Brakes Repair/Replace Tire Repair/Replace Exterior Lighting Repair/Replace Exterior Labeling and Decaling Suspension Repair/Replace Electrical Repair/Replace GPS device installations Employee will be responsible for: Repairs as assigned by management Maintaining a clean work environment Providing own standard tooling Adhering to all safety guidelines Experience, Other Knowledge: Basic knowledge & familiarity with air brake and ABS systems and repairs Able to diagnose simple 12 volt electrical light systems Basic metal fabrication ability Steel welding ability Qualifications: Minimum 1 year experience in tractor trailer repair preferred Job Type: Full-time Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Vision insurance Experience: semi-trailer repair: 1 year (Required) Work Location: In person
