This position handles the complete diagnosis, repair, and general PM maintenance, and troubleshooting on heavy duty diesel. Come join our growing Family of Companies!SCHEDULE: 2nd shift, Monday- Friday, 3pm- 12am (plus a 10% pay differential)BENEFITS: Industry leading pay and benefits, paid weekly, overtime opportunities, vacation rollover, $50,000 life insurance policy gifted to all FT employees, 401k with a company match, career advancement programs, awesome company events, HUGE tech referral bonuses, monthly tech incentive bonus, plus a $5,000 sign on bonus and pay differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts!The ideal candidate would have the following skills:Great work ethicWillingness to jump in and help out where neededMechanical aptitude (prior experience as a technician is a plus, but we willing to train!)Welding experience a plus for trailer techniciansAbility to lift 50-100 lbs. occasionally and 10-50 lbs. frequentlyClean driving recordGood written and verbal communication skillsReliability and a dedication to be a hard workerAbility to work independently maintaining a safe, efficient and friendly work environmentHonesty and respectA typical day might include:Performs basic routine servicing and repairing of diesel trucks and trailersDiagnose, troubleshoot, disassemble vehicles and examine parts for defects and excessive wear.Corrects vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems, such as, power and drive trains, electrical, air conditioning, fuel, emission, brake, steering, hydraulics; making adjustments and alignments including bearing loads, gear tooth contact, valve mechanisms, governors, oil systems, control linkages, clutches, and traction units.Inspect the overall condition of Trucks and trailers to ensure that they meet U.S.
