RoadOne IntermodaLogistics is seeking a dependable, hands-on Trailer Mechanic to join our maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing trailers to ensure they remain safe, reliable, and ready for operation. The ideal candidate has mechanical repair experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and takes pride in producing quality work. What You'll Do Tire Maintenance & Repair: Inspect, repair, and replace trailer tires as needed. Brake Repairs: Diagnose and repair trailer brake systems to ensure safe operation. Lighting & Electrical Repairs: Troubleshoot and repair trailer lights, wiring, and electrical connections. Trailer Body Repairs: Repair holes, damaged panels, and other minor structural or body issues. General Maintenance: Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs to keep trailers in good working condition. Welding & Fabrication: Assist with welding and metal repairs as needed, based on experience. Safety & Compliance: Follow company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area. Team Collaboration: Work closely with the maintenance and operations teams to prioritize repairs and minimize equipment downtime. What We're Looking For Minimum of 1 year of experience in trailer maintenance, mechanical repair, or a related field. High school diploma or equivalent required. Basic knowledge of trailer brake systems, tires, lighting, and general repairs. Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and mechanical repair equipment safely. Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Welding experience preferred but not required. Ability to perform physical work, including bending, kneeling, lifting, and working around heavy equipment. Compensation Pay: $27.00–$29.00 per hour, based on experience.
