Trailer Mechanic

Trailer Mechanic We are looking for a dependable Trailer Mechanic to work under the direction of the Shop Manager. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience diagnosing, servicing, and repairing trailers. Pay Range: $20.00–$30.00 per hour, depending on experience. Skill-based pay reviews with opportunities for pay increases Skills & Experience Applicants should have demonstrated experience in most of the following areas: Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical trailer systems General trailer maintenance, service, and repairs Trailer suspension installation and repair Air brake systems and repairs FHWA inspections and DOT compliance Welding experience preferred, but not required Requirements Must be at least 18 years old High School Diploma or GED required Must have basic mechanic tools Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and up to 75 lbs. with assistance Must be able to stand, bend, and walk frequently Must be willing to work in an open-air workshop Benefits Paid time off Paid holidays Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour Expected hours: 8.0 – 40.0 per week Benefits: Paid time off Work Location: In person
