Responsibilities Perform comprehensive inspections and diagnostics on trailers Conduct repairs on mechanical systems including, suspension, brakes, hydraulics, shocks, and air brake systems. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques to assemble, repair, or modify trailer components Troubleshoot electrical issues related to vehicle systems and perform necessary repairs or replacements with precision. Conduct tire service, wheel alignments, and suspension adjustments to uphold safety standards. Follow schematics and technical manuals meticulously for accurate repairs and maintenance procedures. Experience Skilled in welding, fabrication, soldering, and the use of hand tools for equipment repair and assembly. Familiarity with vehicle maintenance procedures for farm machinery or industrial equipment is a plus. Ability to interpret schematics and technical manuals accurately for complex repairs. Prior service technician experience with a focus on trailer systems is highly desirable.
