Trailer Mechanic

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and energetic Trailer Mechanic to join our dynamic maintenance team. In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of trailers to ensure safety, reliability, and optimal performance. Your expertise will help keep our fleet operational and compliant with industry standards. Duties Repair flatbeds, stepdecks, double drops, lowboys, rolloffs, dumps, gondolas and vans. Services, inspects, and repairs tractor trailers, mainly brakes and lights. Repairs defective parts such as brakes, tires, axels, wiring, and hydraulic systems. Tests trailers after repairs to ensure its operating without issues. Skills Must be experienced trailer mechanic. Proven mechanic experience with a focus on trailer repair or heavy equipment maintenance. Skilled in fabrication techniques such as welding and soldering; capable of customizing parts as needed. Experience with power tools including drills, grinders, impact wrenches, and cutting tools. Good physical condition for heavy lifting tasks; capable of working in various environmental conditions.
