Traffic Surveyor (Part-Time)

In this role, you will conduct field surveys and audits involving vehicles, pedestrians, cyclists, transit operations, parking utilization, travel times, and roadway conditions to support transportation planning and traffic engineering studies throughout the Region of Peel and surrounding municipalities. In This Role, Your Duties And Responsibilities Will Include Participating in a variety of transportation data collection projects involving the collection, compilation, analysis, and quality review of traffic and transit survey data. Conduct turning movement count surveys to collect vehicle, pedestrian, and cyclist volumes at intersections. Conduct cordon count surveys to record the number of vehicles, pedestrians, cyclists, and transit users crossing a designated screen line or roadway segment. Ensure all data collected is accurate, complete, and compliant with project requirements and quality standards. Adhere to company health and safety policies and procedures while conducting fieldwork.
