Traffic/Routing Associate
Goya Foods IncRouting Associate Goya Foods, Inc., a leader in the food industry based in Webster, Massachusetts is seeking a Routing Associate to provide technical support in the routing of deliveries schedules, administrative support to the General Manager, and to various members of the Traffic staff. Job Summary: Develops and maintains transportation and distribution procedures to maximize delivery efficiency. Selects appropriate delivery methods to minimize delivery costs and maximize customer satisfaction. Responsible for the organization, scheduling of Independent Drivers, and directing of the warehouse/traffic operation on a day-to-day work plan. Adjust and develop schedules as necessary in shipping area, responsible for order accuracy, productivity levels, and coordinate warehouse activities under the direction of the General Manager. Preferred qualifications: Associates degree from College or Technical school; or one to three years of related experience and/or training. Knowledge of Lawson and “Road Net”. Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus. Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including, but not limited to, skill set, experience, qualifications, education, and other job-related reasons.
