Traffic Operations Coordinator
ConfidentialTRAFFIC CONTROL COORDINATOR Position Summary The Traffic Control Coordinator supports daily traffic control operations by coordinating scheduling, personnel records, fleet, inventory, training, equipment, jobsite documentation, and administrative functions. This position works closely with management, field personnel, clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure jobs are properly staffed, equipped, documented, and billed. Key Responsibilities Scheduling & Administration: Create and maintain schedules, fill open shifts, process call-offs and schedule changes, verify employee qualifications, review timecards, support payroll, monitor overtime, and maintain personnel records in Belfry. Compliance & Training: Track licenses, permits, certifications, and training expirations. Manage ATTSA Flagger Certification records, registrations, credential verification, and certification documentation. Fleet Management: Utilize Motive to monitor vehicles, mileage, GPS, fuel, driver activity, inspections, maintenance, and compliance. Maintain vehicle records and coordinate repairs, inspections, and required testing. Inventory & Equipment: Utilize Sortly to track equipment, tools, vehicles, and jobsite assets. Maintain accurate quantities, locations, assignments, transfers, returns, and damage records. Support procurement and equipment replenishment. Jobsite/TCP Coordination: Review TCPs and job requirements, verify equipment availability, coordinate shortages, create jobsite folders, schedule personnel, update Belfry and Outlook, and maintain required project documentation. Job Closeout: Verify equipment returns, document damaged or missing equipment, confirm employee hours for billing, and ensure checklists, quotes, Sortly reports, and supporting documents are uploaded and complete. Communication & Reporting: Coordinate with employees, Traffic Control Managers, clients, vendors, and management. Prepare operational/client reports and provide jobsite hours and information to Sales & Marketing. Wanco Support: Update Wanco message boards through the website when the Traffic Control Manager is not onsite. Qualifications Strong organizational and time-management skills. Excellent communication and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple jobs, deadlines, and priorities. Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and comfortable learning technology platforms. Experience with Belfry, Motive, Sortly, or similar systems is a plus. Traffic control, scheduling, fleet, inventory, or operations experience preferred. Ability to maintain accurate records and confidential information.
