Traffic Control Superintendent
Educated Solutions CorpOur Client, a specialty contractor in barriers and markings is seeking to add a Superintendent to their team in Knapp, WI. This individual plays a crucial role in managing all projects and teams around a growing Traffic Control business. The Traffic Control Superintendent supports informed decision-making and helps ensure projects are delivered within budget while meeting company objectives and customer expectations.This is a full-time role that pays a highly competitive salary, a guaranteed bonus, a full relocation package (if needed) and a strong benefit package – Health, Dental and Vision covered at 80% - and a 401K plan that sees a 20% reinvestment in the employee. The key to this role is proven experience leading project work in the Traffic Control space. The Superintendent will manage an office of 38 employees (7 direct reports) and fully manage start to finish projects for Traffic Pavement Marking and Traffic Control. The incumbent will: Lead the coordination and management of traffic control operations across construction projects. Ensure the safety of workers, motorists, and pedestrians while maintaining smooth traffic flow in active work zones. Oversee traffic control personnel, implement safety protocols, and collaborate with others to uphold high standards of civil infrastructure development. Utilize expertise in heavy equipment operation, safety regulations, and construction site management. Drive project success and promote a culture of safety and efficiency. Utilize knowledge of traffic control operations, roadway construction practices, and MUTCD and WISDOT standards Oversee scheduled and timely maintenance of company equipment. Promote accountability, productivity, and quality workmanship across all assigned projects Work in a fast-paced multi-project environment. Utilize a thorough understanding and demonstrated knowledge of safe job site construction practices. Ability to read and interpret construction documents and plans. Schedule crews and needed material. Provide crew members with direction and coaching. Qualifications: 5+ years experience in the Traffic Control Industry 5+ years managing a team or acting as a Superintendent in the construction industry. 3+ years experience in trades/construction projects pertaining to reading plans, material, labor, equipment, time requirements and contracts. Proficiency in the Microsoft office suite of tools to include Excel, Word, Outlook Preferred but not required Bachelors Degree Any AI usage or expertise (Claude) Software experience with B2W/Trimble Software experience with Vista by Viewpoint Any experience with BlueBeam or HeavyBid software
