Role Overview The position involves working as a Traffic Safety Protector, supporting a team at various job sites. No prior experience or degree is required, as comprehensive training is provided. The role focuses on ensuring safety by setting up cones, signs, barricades, and traffic control equipment, guiding traffic with stop/slow paddles, and monitoring site activity. Key Responsibilities Include Establishing and dismantling traffic control setups Using communication devices to coordinate with team Maintaining safety rules and protocols Keeping vehicles and equipment clean and secure Working outdoors in all weather conditions Potentially working night, weekend, or emergency shifts Standing or walking for extended periods Qualifications include a valid driver’s license, the ability to lift 40–50 pounds, and willingness to work in traffic and varied weather. Candidates must pass a drug screening and demonstrate alertness and respectfulness. Skills required include good communication, safety awareness, and flexibility. Compensation ranges from $17.25 to $18.00 per hour, with overtime, paid training, and opportunities for career advancement to supervisory roles.
