Role Overview As a Traffic Safety Protector , you work with a team to set up and dismantle traffic control equipment, including cones, signs, and barricades, ensuring safety at job sites. Your main responsibilities include guiding traffic with stop/slow paddles, monitoring site activity, and maintaining safety protocols learned during training. Effective communication with crew and supervisors is essential, along with helping keep vehicles and equipment clean and safe. This outdoor role requires working in all weather conditions, often standing or walking for long periods, and occasionally working nights or weekends based on job needs. Qualifications Valid driver’s license Ability to stand, walk, and lift 40–50 pounds Willingness to work outdoors in traffic and changing weather Flexible schedule and punctuality Ability to pass a drug screening and stay alert around moving traffic Respectful attitude towards coworkers, clients, and the public Key Skills Safety awareness, communication, teamwork, adaptability, physical stamina. Compensation & Benefits Hourly pay $16.50–$17.25 with overtime opportunities, paid training, and traffic safety certification.
