Role Overview The position involves working as a Traffic Safety Protector, supporting team efforts at job sites with no prior experience or degree required. Safety is a priority , and comprehensive training is provided. Your responsibilities include setting up traffic control devices such as cones, signs, and barricades, guiding traffic using stop/slow paddles, and maintaining a safe work environment. You will communicate with your crew and supervisor, assist with keeping vehicles and equipment clean, and work outdoors in various weather conditions. Key duties also involve adhering to safety protocols, working outside for extended periods, and sometimes performing emergency or night work. You will be equipped with safety gear, and are expected to bring appropriate steel toe boots. Qualifications & Skills Valid driver’s license Ability to stand, walk, and lift 40-50 pounds Willingness to work in traffic and in all weather conditions Flexible schedule and punctuality Ability to stay alert around moving traffic and follow safety rules Respectful interaction with coworkers and the public Must pass pre-hire screening, including a drug test Additional Information Compensation : $17.00–$17.75 per hour, with overtime, pay raises, paid training, and a traffic safety certificate.
