Role Overview As a Traffic Safety Protector , you will work with a team at various job sites to ensure safety and traffic control. No prior experience or degree is required as comprehensive training is provided. Your primary duties involve setting up cones, signs, and barricades, guiding traffic with stop/slow paddles, and maintaining a safe work environment. You will follow all safety protocols, communicate effectively with team members, and assist in keeping equipment and vehicles clean and safe. This role requires working outdoors in all weather conditions, with shifts that may include nights, weekends, or emergency work. You may stand or walk for extended periods and need to lift 40–50 pounds. A valid driver’s license, ability to work outside, and adherence to safety rules are essential. Personal protective equipment such as a hard hat, safety goggles, vest, whistle, walkie-talkie, and weather gear are provided; steel-toe boots are required. Qualifications & Skills Valid driver’s license Ability to stand, walk, and work outdoors for long periods Capability to lift 40–50 pounds Willingness to work in traffic and diverse weather conditions Flexible schedule and punctuality Ability to pass pre-hire screening, including a drug test Alertness around moving traffic and strict adherence to safety rules Respectful treatment of coworkers, clients, and the public Key Duties & Benefits Setting up and removing traffic control equipment Guiding traffic safely using paddles Following safety training protocols Supporting team communication and site safety Compensation and Advancement : Hourly pay ranges from $19.50 to $20.25, with overtime opportunities, pay increases within the first year, and paid training that includes obtaining a traffic safety certificate.
