Traffic Control Flagger

Role Overview The position involves working as part of a team at traffic job sites to implement traffic safety measures. No prior experience or degree is required, as comprehensive training is provided. Key responsibilities include setting up and removing cones, signs, and barricades, guiding traffic with stop/slow paddles, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. The role requires effective communication with team members and supervisors, maintaining cleanliness and safety of vehicles and equipment, and working outdoors in all weather conditions. Flexibility is essential, as shifts may include nights, weekends, or emergency work. Qualifications & Skills Valid driver’s license Ability to stand, walk, and work outdoors for extended periods Ability to lift 40–50 pounds Willingness to work in traffic and varying weather conditions Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious Ability to pass pre-employment screening, including drug testing Respectful communication with coworkers, clients, and the public Key Duties Setup and takedown of traffic control devices Guiding traffic safely around work zones Adhering to all safety rules and protocols Maintaining safety gear and equipment Additional Information Compensation ranges from $17.23 to $18.07 per hour, with overtime opportunities and pay increases within the first year.
