Role Overview As a Traffic Safety Protector , you will work with a team at various job sites to manage traffic control activities. No prior experience or degree is required, as comprehensive training and support are provided. Your main duties include setting up cones, signs, and barricades, operating stop/slow paddles to guide traffic, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. Additional responsibilities involve maintaining equipment, communicating effectively with crew and supervisors, and working outdoors in all weather conditions. You may stand or walk for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and be flexible with shift timings, which may include nights, weekends, or emergency work. Safety gear such as helmets, goggles, vests, and weather apparel are supplied; steel-toe boots are your responsibility. Qualifications & Skills Valid driver’s license Ability to work outdoors and stand/walk for extended periods Capability to lift 40–50 pounds Willingness to work in traffic and diverse weather conditions Strong safety awareness and adherence to safety rules Respectful and professional attitude towards coworkers, clients, and the public Pass pre-hire screening, including drug tests Key Benefits & Opportunities Compensation ranges from $19.50 to $20.25 per hour, with overtime and pay raises within the first year. Paid training and traffic safety certification are included.
