Coastal Elite ProRole Overview As a Traffic Safety Protector , you will work with a team at various job sites to ensure safety and traffic control. No prior experience or degree is required as comprehensive training and support are provided. Your primary responsibilities include setting up cones, signs, barricades, and traffic control equipment, guiding traffic using stop/slow paddles, and monitoring site activity. You will follow all safety protocols learned during training, communicate effectively with your team, and help maintain a clean and safe work environment. This role requires working outdoors in all weather conditions, with shifts potentially including nights, weekends, or emergency hours. Qualifications & Skills Valid driver’s license Ability to stand, walk, and work outside for extended periods Ability to lift 40–50 pounds Willingness to work in traffic and diverse weather conditions Flexible schedule and punctuality Must pass pre-hire screening, including drug tests Stay alert around moving traffic and adhere to all safety rules Respectful behavior towards coworkers, clients, and the public Key Duties Setting up and dismantling traffic control devices Guiding traffic safely using paddles Monitoring site safety and activity Maintaining equipment and work area safety Compensation & Benefits Pay : $17.25–$18.00/hour, with overtime and pay increases in the first year. Paid training and traffic safety certification included.
