Traffic Control Flagger

Role Overview The position involves working as a traffic safety protector at job sites, with no prior experience or degree required. Safety is the top priority, and comprehensive training is provided. Key Responsibilities Setting up cones, signs, and barricades, and dismantling traffic control equipment Using stop/slow paddles to direct traffic and monitor site activity Adhering to all safety protocols learned during training Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors Maintaining vehicles and equipment cleanliness and safety Working outdoors in various weather conditions and in traffic environments Being adaptable to shift changes, including nights, weekends, or emergency work Standing or walking for extended periods and lifting 40–50 pounds Qualifications & Skills Valid driver’s license Ability to work outdoors, stand, walk, and lift heavy objects Willingness to work in traffic and diverse weather conditions Flexible schedule and punctuality Ability to remain alert around moving traffic and follow safety rules Respectful interaction with coworkers, clients, and the public Successful completion of pre-hire screening, including drug testing Additional Information Compensation ranges from $17.00 to $17.75 per hour, with overtime and pay increases over time Paid training, safety certification, and benefits such as paid time off, holidays, health insurance, 401(k), and referral bonuses Opportunities for advancement to senior, lead protector, field supervisor, and management roles All applicants are encouraged to apply regardless of background, as this position is an equal opportunity role.
