Coastal Elite ProJoin a team as a Traffic Safety Protector, responsible for setting up traffic control devices, guiding traffic with stop/slow paddles, and maintaining safety at job sites. No prior experience or degree required; comprehensive training and support are provided. Key duties include installing cones, signs, barricades, communicating with team members, and ensuring equipment and vehicles are safe and clean. This role involves working outdoors in all weather conditions, often standing or walking for extended periods, and possibly working night, weekend, or emergency shifts. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license, the ability to lift 40–50 pounds, and be willing to work in traffic environments. Strong safety awareness, punctuality, and respectful communication are essential. Willingness to work outside year-round in varying weather conditions Adherence to all safety procedures learned during training Ability to stay alert around moving traffic Compensation ranges from $17 to $17.75 per hour, with overtime opportunities, pay increases, and paid training leading to a traffic safety certification.
