Traffic Control Flagger

Role Overview As a Traffic Safety Protector , you will work with a team at job sites to ensure safety and traffic management. No prior experience or degree is required; comprehensive training is provided. Your key responsibilities include setting up cones, signs, barricades, and traffic control equipment, using stop/slow paddles, and monitoring traffic and site activity. You will follow all safety protocols, communicate effectively with team members and supervisors, and maintain vehicles and equipment. The role involves working outdoors in various weather conditions, standing or walking for extended periods, and lifting 40-50 pounds. Flexibility for different shifts, including nights, weekends, and emergency work, is essential. Personal protective gear such as hard hats, goggles, vests, walkie-talkies, and weather gear are provided; steel toe boots are required. Qualifications & Skills Valid driver’s license Ability to stand, walk, and work outdoors for long durations Capability to lift 40–50 pounds Willingness to work in traffic and diverse weather conditions Flexible schedule and punctuality Ability to pass pre-hire screening, including drug tests Alertness around moving traffic and adherence to safety rules Respectful interaction with coworkers, clients, and the public Key Duties & Benefits The role offers hourly pay, overtime opportunities, pay raises within the first year, and paid training with certification.
