We are seeking a trustworthy, organized, detail-oriented associate to help fulfill customer orders and process incoming inventory. You will work under our Fulfillment & Inventory Processing Manager, following established procedures and developing your knowledge of collectible cards.
ResponsibilitiesOrder Fulfillment
• Pick cards and products, verifying edition, variant, condition, quantity, and other identifying details against each order.
• Inspect items before shipment and flag discrepancies or condition concerns.
• Package orders securely and neatly to protect valuable collectibles and provide a premium customer experience.
• Prepare shipping labels and documentation using company procedures.
• Deliver packages to local shipping carriers as assigned.
Incoming Inventory Processing
• Receive and check incoming cards and products against purchase records or other intake documentation.
• Identify, sort, and record items accurately.
• Assess and assign condition grades to lower-value cards using company standards and training; refer higher-value cards to the Manager and highest-value cards to the COO or an owner. Escalate uncertain assessments to the Manager.
• Perform authenticity checks within your training and established procedures; escalate uncertainty to the Manager before an item is listed or shipped.
• Prepare inventory for sale, including creating or updating product listings under established guidelines using approved pricing.
• Place processed inventory in its assigned storage location and maintain accurate location records.
Inventory Accuracy and Organization
• Accurately record inventory receipts, sales-related movements, returns, and transfers; assist with inventory counts.
• Perform required quality checks and promptly report inventory discrepancies, damage, condition or authenticity concerns, system errors, and other exceptions.
• Handle and store cards carefully to prevent damage, loss, or misidentification.
• Maintain an orderly and secure workspace; monitor packing supplies and notify the Manager when replenishment is needed.
• Assist with returns, shipment research, and fulfillment questions as directed by the Manager; refer decisions outside established procedures or delegated authority to the Manager.
• Follow established procedures and the Manager’s priorities, communicate progress and delays promptly, and suggest practical improvements.
Qualifications
• Demonstrated reliability, integrity, and care when handling valuable property.
• Strong attention to detail, including the ability to complete repetitive tasks accurately.
• Good organizational skills and the ability to follow priorities and meet shipping deadlines.
• Familiarity with Magic: The Gathering cards and an interest in learning more about editions, variants, condition, and collectible value.
• Comfort using computers, entering data accurately, and learning inventory management, sales-platform, and shipping software.
• Clear communication, receptiveness to feedback, and willingness to ask questions when something is uncertain.
• Ability to make local carrier drop-offs as required.
Experience in trading card inventory, e-commerce fulfillment, shipping, or other work involving accurate handling of valuable items is helpful. Relevant experience gained through collecting, buying, or selling cards is welcome.
