Position Summary: Ronald A. Chisholm is seeking an enthusiastic, curious, detail-oriented, collaborative, and resourceful team player for a full-time position as a Trade Operations Specialist. Reporting to the Operations Manager and Logistics Manager, North America Meat, the Trade Operations Specialist will support the accurate execution of contracts, rates, logistics, invoicing, and secondary costs for food commodity shipments. This entry-level role is designed to grow from foundational transaction processing and deal-file administration into ownership of complex operational functions, including storage costs, pallet tracking, food safety documentation, and onboarding support. Training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity to build a career in operations and supply chain management within the food commodities industry. Key Responsibilities: Collects, files, and maintains documentation required for deal files and customer invoicing, including bills of lading and supplier invoices. Enters, monitors, and updates contracts in Access as required by the logistics team; adds clear notes to keep files current and complete. Learns and supports the end-to-end processing of remittances, invoices, cost approvals, collections, and payments, prioritizing tasks by delivery date. Processes and progressively takes ownership of secondary costs, including storage invoices and complex charges such as inspection facilities and tariffs. Sets up SAP transactions to correctly reflect claim credits and debits; enters trade contracts into SAP as required. Manages cold-storage administration, including monthly statements, invoice investigation, issue resolution, and follow-up with internal and external stakeholders. Tracks and traces CHEP pallets and maintains accurate uploads and records in MYCHEP. Coordinates and maintains food safety documentation, including specification sheets, product photos, letters of guarantee, third-party audits, food safety portals, and SFCA records. Supports the onboarding of customers, suppliers, carriers, and storage facilities, helping ensure food safety, tax, tariff, CHEP, and tax identification requirements are set up correctly. Maintains open and consistent communication with traders, logistics, data entry, accounting, customers, carriers, warehouses, and other business partners to support accurate and efficient deal execution and address credit or documentation issues.
