Trade Compliance Specialist
Enesco, LLCAbout the role As Trade Compliance Specialist, you'll oversee the daily execution of Enesco's trade compliance processes and systems, making sure materials move across international borders in line with all government regulations and authorizations. You'll track domestic and foreign rulemaking, build compliance systems with internal stakeholders and regulators, and guide the third-party agents and brokers who support the work. You'll also own timely, accurate declaration submissions to international trade authorities. Responsibilities: Execute trade activities that keep Enesco compliant with U.S. and foreign laws and regulations Lead or support projects and cross-functional initiatives, and identify process improvements Work with regulators including U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), UK His Majesty's Revenue and Customs (HMRC), and Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) Prepare trade-related applications and regulator responses in coordination with Legal Generate, maintain, and monitor import/export declarations, certifications, and related government agency requests Develop import and export authorizations that allow efficient, compliant transfer of technology, technical data, hardware, and services Audit import and export policies and procedures, flag gaps, and implement fixes Maintain compliant records, train colleagues on trade and sanctions regulations, and report on compliance metrics Qualifications: Bachelor's degree, or 4 years of relevant experience, in Business, International Trade, Supply Chain Management, or a related field 3+ years in customs or international trade Experience with U.S. import regulations (19 CFR), ITAR, EAR, and OFAC regulations Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; detail oriented and self-motivated Legal authorization to work in the U.S. for any employer without sponsorship Reliable, punctual attendance in the office Monday to Thursday/ Friday remote Ad Populum Offers: Opportunity to shape the future of a growing company Competitive salary and benefits package Opportunities for professional growth and development Collaborative and supportive work environment The salary on offer for this hybrid position will be $80,000.00- $90,000 per year.
