Job Summary: We are seeking a Trade Compliance Specialist to support global import/export compliance activities and ensure adherence to U.S. trade regulations. This role will focus on product classification, regulatory research, documentation review, and providing compliance guidance to internal business teams. Key Responsibilities: Support international trade compliance activities related to import and export classifications . Perform product classification reviews using HTS/HTSUS, Schedule B, and ECCN codes . Review product descriptions, technical drawings, and material specifications to determine accurate classifications. Research and interpret U.S. Customs (CBP), BIS, EAR, OFAC, and trade regulations . Prepare classification rationales and supporting documentation. Maintain and update product classification databases and master data records. Partner with ERP teams to update product information and classification data. Provide compliance guidance to internal teams including Logistics, Procurement, and Business Units. Support customs documentation reviews, duty/tax calculations, and import/export compliance activities. Assist with global trade management systems, reporting, and compliance improvements. Requirements: 3–5+ years of experience in international trade compliance, import/export compliance, or customs classification . Hands-on experience with HTS/HTSUS, Schedule B, and ECCN classification . Strong understanding of U.S. Customs, BIS Export Administration Regulations (EAR), and OFAC requirements . Experience reviewing technical documents, product specifications, and classification data. Knowledge of GRI rules, section/chapter notes, and classification rationale development. Experience with Excel/Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting. Experience with Global Trade Management (GTM) tools preferred. Knowledge of Power BI/reporting preferred. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Transportation, International Trade, or related field preferred. Customs Broker License or CCS certification is a plus.
