You will be responsible for operating tractor-trailers, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and tankers, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining compliance with all federal and state transportation regulations. Duties Safely operate tractor-trailers across assigned routes, including OTR routes, ensuring timely delivery of freight. Load and unload cargo with precision, handling various types of freight such as hazardous materials, dangerous goods, and temperature-sensitive items using appropriate manual handling techniques. Navigate using GPS systems to optimize routes and meet delivery schedules efficiently. Manage the transportation of automobile parts and other specialized freight via refrigerated trailers or flatbeds as required. Comply with all FMCSA (Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration) regulations, DOT (Department of Transportation) standards, and hazardous materials regulations during daily operations. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on trucks and trailers to ensure safety and operational readiness. Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo manifests, and delivery documentation in accordance with regulatory standards. Requirements Proven experience in commercial truck driving, including tractor-trailer operation with manual transmission. Valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) with necessary endorsements for hazardous materials (Hazmat), tanker, or flatbed loads preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of FMCSA regulations, DOT rules, and hazardous materials handling procedures. Experience with refrigerated trailer operations and GPS navigation systems. Ability to load, secure, and unload freight safely while following proper logistics cargo handling protocols. Strong understanding of route driving techniques for efficient delivery across multiple locations. Excellent manual handling skills for truck loading/unloading activities.
