This is a local driving position serving Long Island. Drivers are home daily, with no long-distance or overnight travel required. The ideal candidate must have at least 5 years of professional tractor-trailer driving experience, a valid CDL, and a strong commitment to safety and reliability. Responsibilities Safely operate tractor-trailer vehicles for local deliveries throughout Long Island. Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections. Follow all DOT regulations and traffic laws. Maintain accurate delivery logs and required paperwork. Ensure freight is transported and delivered safely and on time. Communicate professionally with dispatch and customers. Keep the vehicle clean and report any mechanical issues. Qualifications Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required. Minimum of 5 years of tractor-trailer driving experience required . Clean driving record. Knowledge of DOT safety regulations. Ability to perform vehicle inspections. Dependable, punctual, and professional. Strong communication and time-management skills. Compensation $40.00 per hour Full-time employment. Local Long Island routes. Home every day. No overnight long-distance driving.
