Job Duties The Track and Trace Specialist is responsible for monitoring, tracking and updating our customer’s freight in Link’s TMS system. This role supports the efforts of our office by providing visibility and maintaining accurate documentation on all loads. - Provide clear and accurate communication, troubleshoot any carrier concerns, and pro-actively monitor the movement of freight to ensure customer satisfaction - Track and trace all loads to ensure pick ups and deliveries of time-sensitive freight - Initiate “check calls” with drivers and carriers - Work cooperatively with Account Managers and Carrier Representatives to provide solutions for customer and carrier needs - Enter accurate information into the TMS system and multi-task between emails, phone calls, and operate out of different TMS systems Ideal Candidate - High School Diploma; Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics or supply chain preferred. - 1+ year experience in logistics - 1+ years in customer service - Ability to work individually and with a team. - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment - Able to multi-task and pay attention to detail - Energy and personality to engage over the phone - Well-organized with ability to set and execute priorities. - Excellent typing skills and knowledge of PC applications with ability to work with multiple screens and interfaces.
