Tow Truck Driver- Scrap Vehicle Pickup

Langille's is looking for an experienced Tow Truck Driver to join our team and handle the pickup and transportation of scrap vehicles. Responsibilities Pick up scrap and end-of-life heavy duty trucks from customers and designated locations Safely operate a heavy-duty tilt/load tow truck and related equipment Secure vehicles properly for transportation Complete vehicle pickups efficiently and professionally Perform basic vehicle and equipment safety checks Provide professional and courteous service to customers Requirements Valid tow truck licence/Certificate Minimum 3 years of recent experience driving heavy-duty and capable of driving 18 speed trucks if needed. Previous towing, vehicle transport, using a tilt/load and/or float trailer with scrap vehicle experience is an asset Clean and reliable driving record Strong knowledge of safe towing and vehicle securement procedures Ability to work independently and manage a pickup schedule Good customer service and communication skills Must be dependable, punctual, and safety-focused Mon-Fri, occasional Saturdays, closed every long weekend ****OVER TIME AFTER 44 HOURS**** Benefits, Group RRSP incentives, uniforms, boot allowance Full-time -All year round position Please send RESUME and CVOR Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $28.00 per hour Benefits: Extended health care On-site parking RRSP match Experience: Commercial driving: 3 years (required) Towing: 3 years (required) Licence/Certification: Tow Truck Licence/Certificate (required) Work Location: In person
