Tow Truck Driver/Operator (Night Shift)

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team for our overnight (night) shift. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to customer service and safety while demonstrating mechanical knowledge and proficiency in operating various types of tow trucks. This role involves responding to roadside assistance calls, transporting vehicles, and ensuring that all towing operations are conducted efficiently and professionally. This is an overnight/night shift position, working Monday through Saturday (no Sundays). You will handle motor-club (Agero/AAA) dispatch calls in addition to private tows. Duties Operate tow trucks, including wheel lift, to safely transport vehicles. Load and unload vehicles with care, ensuring minimal damage during the towing process. Maintain accurate records of services rendered and any necessary vehicle documentation. Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding tow truck operations. Handle motor-club (Agero/AAA) dispatch calls and complete required motor-club documentation. Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving. Assist with minor repairs or troubleshooting of vehicles when necessary. Qualifications Current Texas TDLR tow operator license preferred (Incident Management a plus); valid driver's license Proven experience in commercial driving, particularly with tow trucks or similar vehicles. Experience with wheel lift tow trucks. Strong mechanical knowledge related to vehicle operations. Ability to load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently. Previous experience in customer service roles is highly desirable. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure. Available to work overnight shifts, Monday through Saturday. A commitment to safety and adherence to all company policies and procedures.
