Tow Truck Driver/Operator

Overview We are seeking a skilled and dependable Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and commercial driving. This role involves safely towing vehicles, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring efficient operations. Experience with flatbed trucks, automotive repair, and conflict management is highly desirable. Responsibilities Operate tow trucks, including flatbed to tow vehicles safely and efficiently Load and unload vehicles using appropriate tools such as forklifts when necessary Perform basic automotive diagnostics and mechanical assessments to determine towing requirements Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients professionally during stressful situations Maintain accurate records of all towing activities and vehicle details Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times Troubleshoot mechanical issues related to tow trucks or vehicles being towed Manage conflict situations with tact and professionalism, ensuring customer satisfaction Experience Proven experience operating tow trucks, especially flatbed models Mechanical knowledge with automotive repair background is preferred Familiarity with manual transmissions and automotive diagnostics Commercial driving experience with a valid driver’s license suitable for towing operations Hands-on experience with forklifts or similar equipment is a plus Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle conflict management effectively Prior work involving load & unload procedures in a fast-paced environment is advantageous This position requires a dedicated individual committed to safety, technical proficiency, and delivering excellent service.
