Tow Truck Driver/Operator

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in commercial driving, ensuring the safe and efficient transport of vehicles. As a Tow Truck Driver, you will be responsible for responding to roadside assistance calls, providing exceptional customer service, and demonstrating conflict management skills when necessary. Duties Operate tow trucks to safely load, unload, and transport vehicles. Perform basic automotive diagnostics to assess vehicle conditions before towing. Utilize flatbed and manual transmission tow trucks as required. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all equipment is in good working order. Communicate effectively with customers, providing updates on vehicle status and addressing any concerns. Manage conflicts professionally while ensuring customer satisfaction during stressful situations. Assist in minor mechanical repairs as needed to facilitate towing operations. Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the road. Qualifications Proven experience in commercial driving with a clean driving record. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic automotive diagnostics. Experience operating forklifts is a plus. Ability to drive various types of tow trucks, including flatbed models. Excellent conflict management skills to handle customer interactions effectively. Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
