Job Summary We are seeking a reliable, safety-focused midshift Tow Truck Driver to handle police-directed impounds, property management tows, and after-hours service calls. This role requires strong judgement, professionalism during law enforcement interactions, accurate documentation, and consistent customer service - even in high-pressure situations. Duties Respond promptly to police department impouond requests, accident scenes, abandoned vehicles, and enforcement tows. Perform private property tows for apartment communities, commercial lots, and HOAs in compliance with state and local laws. Safely operate tow trucks, including flatbed, rollback and/or wheel-lift tow trucks and other specialized vehicles, to recover and transport vehicles efficiently. Secure, transport, and drop vehicles at the designated impound facility or storage lot. Conduct nightly patrols of contracted management complexes. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with property managers, dispatchers, and team members during dispatched calls. Manage conflict situations professionally, maintaining calmness and clarity to resolve issues swiftly. Perform routine inspections of tow trucks and recovery equipment to ensure safety standards are met and maintenance is up to date. Assist with automotive repair tasks or mechanical troubleshooting when necessary, leveraging your mechanical knowledge and mechanic experience. Skills Experience operating manual transmissions and commercial driving vehicles. Knowledge of flatbed tow trucks, rollbacks and/or wheel-lift tow truck operations, and load securing techniques. Excellent driving skills with a valid driver’s license (CDL) preferred but not required. Skilled in conflict management, customer service excellence, and clear communication under pressure. Ability to de-escalate conflict when interacting with upset or confrontational individuals. Skilled in completing accurate paperwork for police impounds, including inventory sheets, photographs, times and tow authorizations. Log all property management tows with photos, reason for tow and lot violations. Follow all state towing statues, city ordinances, and company prodedures. Maintain chain-of-custody and secure handling of impounded vehicles and property. Pay: $600.00 - $1,200.00 per week Application Question(s): Do you have tow truck driver experience?
