Tow Truck Driver/Mechanic

Overview We are seeking a versatile Tow Truck Driver/Mechanic to join our team! APPLY TODAY START TOMORROW!!!! This energetic role combines roadside assistance with the technical expertise of automotive repair. As a key player, you will be responsible for safely towing vehicles, diagnosing mechanical issues, and performing repairs to ensure our customers’ vehicles are back on the road quickly and reliably. Your proactive attitude and mechanical skills will drive our mission to deliver exceptional service while maintaining safety standards at all times. Duties Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and wheel-lift models, to recover and transport vehicles efficiently and safely. Conduct thorough automotive diagnostics to identify mechanical problems accurately. Perform repairs and maintenance on a variety of vehicles, including engine work, brake repairs, and transmission servicing. Manage customer interactions professionally, providing clear communication and excellent service during roadside assistance or vehicle recovery. Maintain detailed records of all towing activities, repairs performed, and vehicle conditions. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all operations. Qualifications Proven mechanic experience with a solid understanding of automotive diagnostics and repair techniques. Hands-on experience with manual transmissions, flatbed tow trucks, and automotive repair tools. Valid driver’s license with clean driving record; experience driving tow trucks is preferred. Mechanical knowledge related to engine systems, brakes, transmissions, and electrical components. Strong conflict management skills to handle customer concerns professionally in high-pressure situations. Certification or experience operating forklifts or other heavy equipment is a plus.
