Tow Truck Driver - Light Duty and Heavy Duty (Multiple Openings) Coastal Towing Services | Rocky Mount, NC | Full-Time COMPENSATION Light Duty: $800 - $1,200 per week average Heavy Duty: $1,200 - $1,800 per week average All drivers receive a weekly guarantee plus commission. Earnings are based on experience, availability, and willingness to take after-hours calls. Night Shift Bonus: Drivers working the night shift (8:00 PM to 4:00 AM) earn a higher commission percentage. OPEN POSITIONS Light Duty Tow Truck Driver - Weekly guarantee: $500 - Commission based on experience - Average weekly earnings: $800 - $1,200 - Higher commission rate available for night shift (8:00 PM to 4:00 AM) - Minimum 1 year tow truck experience required - Valid driver's license required (CDL not required) - Valid DOT medical card required Heavy Duty Tow Truck Driver - Weekly guarantee: $800 - Commission based on experience - Average weekly earnings: $1,200 - $1,800 - Higher commission rate available for night shift (8:00 PM to 4:00 AM) - Minimum 3 years tow truck experience required - CDL Class A required - Valid DOT medical card required - Experienced operators only SCHEDULE - Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM - On-call rotation every other day (24-hour availability required) - On-call every other weekend - Night shift available: 8:00 PM to 4:00 AM (higher commission rate) - Take-home truck provided during on-call shifts - Primary service area is Rocky Mount; some calls may require overnight travel BENEFITS - Competitive weekly guarantee plus commission - Weekly direct deposit - Paid holidays - PTO accruing annually - Take-home truck during on-call shifts - Consistent, predictable schedule - Opportunities for continued training and advancement within the company REQUIREMENTS - Minimum 3 years total driving experience - Valid DOT medical card - Clean MVR required - Clean background check required - Pre-employment drug test required - Subject to random drug testing - Professional conduct and appearance at all times WHY COASTAL At Coastal Towing Services, we are more than a towing company.
