Responsibilities Safely operate tow trucks, including flatbed and other specialized vehicles, to recover and transport vehicles efficiently. Conduct basic mechanical troubleshooting and minor repairs to vehicles when necessary, ensuring they are roadworthy for towing. Follow cargo securement protocols to load and unload vehicles securely onto tow trucks, maintaining safety standards at all times. Assist with vehicle recovery towing, vehicle mechanics for truck drivers, and car towing services across various locations. Communicate effectively with dispatch to coordinate timely pickups and deliveries while managing multiple jobs simultaneously. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client needs professionally and courteously during roadside assistance calls. Adhere to all safety regulations, traffic laws, and operational procedures to ensure safe vehicle loading onto tow trucks and accident-free work environments. Skills Proven experience with automotive diagnostics, automotive repair, and minor mechanical vehicle repairs. Valid commercial truck driving license with experience in commercial driving and flatbed truck operation. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with basic vehicle troubleshooting skills. Expertise in cargo securement protocols and safe vehicle loading techniques onto tow trucks. Excellent conflict management skills to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally. Familiarity with manual transmission operation and vehicle recovery towing procedures. Outstanding customer service abilities paired with clear communication skills for effective dispatch coordination.
