Tow Truck Driver

Overview We at, Freedom Auto, service a fleet of postal vehicles. We do regular maintenance and repairs. Join our automotive team as a Postal Vehicle Tow Truck Driver and become a vital part of our roadside assistance and vehicle delivery operation! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for safely transporting postal vehicles from our shop to Post Office stations. While also providing exceptional customer service and ensuring efficient vehicle towing. Your driving expertise will help keep our operations running smoothly while delivering prompt, professional service to our customers. Duties Safely operate a flatbed tow truck to transport vehicles from breakdowns or maintenance pickup and deliveries Securely load and unload vehicles onto tow truck and follow cargo securement protocols to prevent damage during transit Follow all safety procedures for vehicle loading onto tow trucks and during transportation, maintaining compliance with industry standards Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients upon pickup and delivery There will be up to 6 vehicle pickup/deliveries, per day. Some days, less. While you wait on a vehicle to be completed for maintenance, you provide assistance in moving vehicles in and out of lot. Qualifications Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record; experience with commercial truck driving preferred Driving only, no vehicle repairs required Experience operating flatbed tow truck Knowledge of safe vehicle loading techniques on tow trucks Ability to perform physical tasks such as load & unload operations and vehicle recovery towing efficiently Ability to work Mon-Fri, 9am-6pm We’re committed to supporting your growth while providing an engaging work environment focused on safety, professionalism, and exceptional service.
